Dragon Quest VI DS Resurfaces, Dragon Quest III Port Joins The Party

Dragon Quest VI DS Resurfaces, Dragon Quest III Port Joins The Party We’ve known about Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Reverie for DS for a while but this is the first time in a while we’ve seen actual artwork for it.

 

Unlike all of the other two games in the Zenithia saga, Dragon Quest VI has not been remade, ported, remastered, or re-released. It’ll be interesting to see how this does after DQIX.

 

Weekly Shounen Jump also mentions that a Dragon Quest III port is being developed for mobile phones.

    I’ve recently finished playing through IV and V so knowing this is finally on the way is great news!

    Playing through DQV at the moment, and it’s as addictive and charming as every other DQ I’ve played. I hope S-E brings this over.

      Hm, meybe they could do it with the DQX engine. Would be awesome to have VII without PSX lllllllllllllllllllooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadiing.

      You’re not alone, I know a Dragon Quest’tard that is always saying that hoping for it to materialize.

    Man three was awesome, have the original NES cart and the GBC re-release. I wanna play V next since its considered the best one by many.

    Ugh, III for mobile phones. III is amazing. I spent a huge amount of time on earlier versions of III and I still feel like I could spend more. Unfortunately, I don’t play games on my phone, bring it to DS or something, SE!

    They should have given Dragon Quest III the DS treatment, with the Artepiazza sexy engine doing the rounds.

    love III as well. I still have my GBC cart of Dragon Warrior III.
    Uh, I still have to pick up V. I am so behind in picking up my games….

    you mean it’s not out in Japan yet [the DS remake]? I thought it was for some reason. :/

      Nope. DQ VI isn’t out in Japan and this will be the first remake of DQ VI.
