Sky Crawlers To Feature English Voices Only; Japanese Track Still In Fragile

Recommended Videos

We got in touch with Xseed to confirm whether or not Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces would include the Japanese voices in the game’s final build as indicated by the new trailer.

“Unfortunately, it looks like The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces will not have the original Japanese voice-overs included, only the new English voices,” a representative from Xseed explained. “This appears to be mainly a licensing issue with the Japanese voices for territories outside of Japan, but even if they were available there are some questions about the disc capacity being able to contain both the Japanese and English voices.”

So will Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon face the same issues? Xseed are more optimistic about the chances of Japanese voices in that game. “All signs from the dev team are that the Japanese voices can be included together with the English voices for Fragile. We should have final confirmation on this later as an English build becomes available for the first time.”
