NIS Europe Is Working On Atelier Rorona

By Spencer . September 11, 2009 . 12:59am

araPlaystation got in touch with NIS Europe to talk about the European version of Badman and discovered something about Rorona. (Thanks for the tip Jose!!)

Allison Walker, Project Development Manager at NIS Europe, subtly announced Atelier Rorona for Europe. In the interview Walker says, “We are currently working on ‘Atelier Rorona‘ (PS3).” Can’t get much clearer than that!

So far, NIS America has not announced anything official for Atelier Rorona. However, it seems unlikely that Atelier Rorona will be a European exclusive.

While we’re waiting for domestic details you can read our impressions of Gust’s first 3D Atelier title.

Let’s see if NISE can do a better job with a Gust title than NISA.

It certainly wouldn’t be hard to do.

  • Trotmeister

NIS, uh, “Europe”? Whenever did that happen?

    • Ereek

It’s existed for a while. I know at the very least NIS Europe published Disgaea 3. They have a different logo.

    • They’re run from NISA and Tecmo Koei are acting as distributors for their titles. Or at least, that is my understanding of it.

  • This is at least two RPG/PS3 titles I’ve heard Europe getting the jump on before the US does in the last couple of months or so. That’s contrary to the usual that NA gets first an EU gets second.

  • Akimitsu

Either way, it’s a win-win situation for Europe and the US, as the US will be able to import it since it’s on the PS3.

    • Pichi

      Indeed!! Good news it is!

  • I’m way excited for this game.

  • Generic_name

Not that it really matters. The game is pretty bad.

    • Hraesvelgr

Yeah, I agree. Unfortunately, the same can be said about Level-5’s White Knight Chronicles as well. Oh well, at least there’s Tales of Vesperia…

  • Pichi

Will they fix the glitch? I thought someone posted in another Rorona article that there was a major glitch and others in there in need of a patch. Not sure what came of that.
