D3 Publisher is celebrating the first public day of Tokyo Game Show with an event for their hostess dating game, Dream C Club.

Seriously. Dream C Club Live takes place on September 26 at 1:10PM in hall 1. To attend you need a ticket. D3 will distribute those from 9:30AM – 12:30PM, first come first serve.

At the show voice actress for Nao, Rui, Mian, Mari, and Airi will reprise their roles as hostesses. The latter character is actually an android so you may see something like this video if you get in.

    *;_;* Y…you know… I-I actually kinda want this game…

Hold the phone, Mari’s an android too?!

    …Well, Airi’s still my favorite.

    • No you’re right! Airi is the only android. I corrected it after you pointed this out, thanks!

I’ve been wondering, what the heck does the extra C in the middle stand for?

Even though it would be a cool event, I doubt any of the voice actress would be a looker, at least Rui’s isn’t unfortunately…

I would get this game sooner if they didn’t have so many outfits as DLC, Mari/Airi 800 a piece and about a dozen outfits (yukata, swimsuit, bunny, sailor-fuku, etc) for 320 a piece. I’m not buying a game for $70 stripped of all those things. One would end up spending like $200 on this.

    • I think it stands for “Cabaret”, but then why not write out the last six letters?

      • Aoshi00

Right, as in “Kyabakura” or “Kyabajo” (hostess) maybe.. At first I thought it was like Dream C or Dream Club, but it’s Dream C Club, just weird… I’m not getting this unless it’s on sale, then I would spend the points getting extra chars and outfits. Paying full price for a game and still lacking all these things just really bugs me.

  • I love these promo events.
[email protected] has live concerts every so often and the voice actors actually look kind of like their idol counterparts, epically Makoto (Hiromi Hirata) and Ritsuko (Naomi Wakabayashi).
Ah… wish they would come here once in a while, even if it’s at a Vegas club.

    • [email protected] Live in Vegas? That would be a riot!

I wonder if it would work… Namco Bandai might have to get on promoting the series here first.

      • Tom Jones is only promotion you need.

A duet of Jones and Chihaya doing “What’s New Pussycat”…
