Atelier Annie Bundled With Tiny Annie

By Spencer . September 16, 2009 . 8:49pm

Rosenqueen has a limited edition Atelier Annie: Alchemist of Sera Island pack containing the game and super deformed figures of Annie Eilenberg and Pepe. In case you haven’t been following the game Annie, the game’s listless protagonist, is wearing a yellow hat and Pepe, her fairy and mentor, is in green.

Atelier Annie is part of Gust’s Atelier series, but it isn’t like Atelier Iris. The world isn’t about to end in Atelier Annie and the battle system is SRPG-lite. Your job is to gather materials and maintain a resort. Think of this game as a vacation RPG.

  • Y’know, the NIS office is full of all the great boxed goodies from the JP release of games. I’m so jealous I couldn’t get nice statue figures from the other Atelier games… but only because now I see they exist. This is a nice start, though SD figures aren’t really in my taste.

Had this pre-ordered over there for quite a while. Can’t wait for its release!

I’m excited that the smaller Atelier games are getting released in English! October seems to be a busy gaming month, though. Then again, the game releases are packed almost all the way to Q2 2010, so when would be better?

From what I’ve heard, this game has a ton of charm and the only real complaints I’ve seen are too much character interaction that it drones on and on and that it’s not “Iris-like.” I, for one, loved the older Atelier games and welcome the sims with open arms.

  • Already pre-ordered from Rosenqueen :)

Can´t wait for it to be released so I can play it.

Can’t wait to try the alchemist-sim Atelier games :D
by the 2nd/3rd Atelier Iris, they started to seem more like just watered down RPGs to me.

  • I’m so excited about this release! A few of my friends and I adored the Atelier Iris series and used to waste so much time gathering items – even when we had no immediate need for them. I’m glad to see there’s a great preorder available.

I think the Pepe statue looks cuter than the Annie one. :D

I noticed this a day or two ago. I am pondering whether I should cancel my pre-order with Gamestop for the sake of figurines. For the sake of jobs in our economy, I like to support the existence of brick-and-mortar stores whenever possible. Yet those figurines are quite compelling…
