Tales of Graces Makes Good Use Of DS ConnectivityIf you want to experience all of Tales of Graces grab your DS. Namco Bandai added a downloadable dungeon crawler called Kamenin Merchant.

 

A scan from V-Jump explain the mini-game generates random dungeons with monsters to fight. (Thanks for the tip Zoomander!!) Items obtained from DS dungeon crawling can be transferred back to Tales of Graces. The mini-game even has a multiplayer mode where up to four Kamenin can link up.

 

Tales of Graces comes out in Japan this winter.

    I really wish they would add the monster capturing element from Symphonia DotNW. I can't imagine it being that difficult to add even at this stage of development. They already had it in DotNW, so they just need to make up an interface to match Graces' make up with levels a monster evolves into its next form, etc.

    That's neat.
    So… we may get to play an english Tales game on the DS after all, sorta.

    lol. but I'm still not placated. I need a real Tales of on the DS for that, at least just one.

    I don't get it. In that last picture, it looks like they are still near the beginning of the game (since he just mastered Majinken, and the battle was only worth 40exp), and yet they have 1000HP each.

    I guess it might depend on the japanese sales, but I think chances are extremely high that it will come. ToS2 made it after all.
