Earth Defense Force 2017 Ported To Mobile Phones

Earth Defense Force lives! D3 Publisher ported Earth Defense Force 2017 (aka Earth Defense Force 3 in Japan), their giant bug shooting game, to cell phones and it looks pretty good.

The game is in 3D and screenshots from the official page show a horde of spiders. Visually, it isn’t as refined as the Xbox 360 game, but let’s be honest that wasn’t jaw dropping in the first place. I’d be happy with a mobile version that was slowdown free.

Earth Defense Force 3 is actually part of a line up of "deluxe” Simple Series games for mobiles. Perhaps, D3 will follow other Japanese publishers and releasing their cell phone games on the iPhone app store.
