First Tales of Graces DLC Is For Vesperia Costumes

image Namco Bandai is officially rolling out their downloadable content plan for Tales of Graces and the first digital download will be a set of Tales of Vesperia outfits.

Pre-order Tales of Graces and you get a code to access three costumes. Asbel gets Yuri’s outfit, Sophie turns into pirate girl Patty, and Sheria dresses like Rita.

For comparison’s sake here are the same characters in their original outfits. Gotta love Asbel’s disco suit!

And here’s a video of the team in their spiffy Vesperia clothes.

Tales of Graces is one of the few Wii games and so far the only JRPG for the Wii with paid downloadable content. Details about the paid items have not been announced at this time.

this would be good if it wasnt for the fact that is not for us non japanese speakers *siiiiigh* how much time for this and tales of vesperia ps3

I concur. I'm beginning to fear that these games will never see the light of day outside of Japan.

Why Patty over Estelle? Well I guess it wouldn't look right on a younger character...
  • Sucks even when i get the download code I won't beable to use it seeing as my console is US, and as far as I know there is no way to access the Japanese shop on newer firmwares.

We should start some kind of campaign to get the message to Namco Bandai we want more say over which Tales titles we get. If they're going to give us the crap titles like Legendia and Dawn of the New World and not the quality ones like Rebirth, DS ones and Graces, we're going to stop giving them money.

Although I do think we will get Graces.

What system was their most successful Tales game in the US released on? A Nintendo system.

How long did they wait before announcing we'd get Abyss? Freaking forever.

If they're ever going to release any other Tales game here that isn't a throwaway 'Toss random characters from different games together' one, it's Graces.

This game is looking good, has been announced for an international release yet? I'm itching for some Tales of... (In English, and definitely not ToS2. :( First will always be my favorite though!).
