I agree with you.
How many opportunities have we all had to buy Lunar again and again?
I think I already have two different versions of the game.
Lunar 3 would be very welcome.

However, I also think that Lunar is a timeless game and that every generation should have the chance to play it.
=3

Remembering the Sega CD/PSX versions makes me not want to play it. I really wish XSeed had gone with something else, but I guess if you're going to go niche, Lunar provides an easy way out...

My thoughts:

The good
-Amazingly fluid battle animations
-Lovely character portraits
-Decent dungeon redesign, town redesign

The bad
-New menu interface isn't quite my style
-No more item graphics...I liked having those.
-Looks like less room to localize snarky item descriptions

While nice, I still think I'll find the PSX Working Designs version the definitive one. Now, either make a prequel with Dyne and co. as the main party, a true Lunar 3, or stop it, Game Arts. I've seen enough Lunar 1 love. If you need to remake something, remake Lunar 2, or hell, make it so Dragon Song doesn't suck so hard.

So is there anywhere on the internet where I can download this without going through the hassle of changing the account linked to my PSP to download from the Japanese store?

i've got to admit, it is tempting to finally play through lunar. i remember being so impressed with it back on the sega cd in 94, but i was borrowing the sega cd (and the game) and had to give it back before finishing. there was something incredibly addictive about it.

and now for something completely different...
i know this is me getting an inch and trying to take a mile, but is there a way you could work the system tags into the front page posts? maybe the tag could follow the time on them.
