No, (Sorry!) Tales of Vesperia Isn’t Coming To Wii

By Spencer . November 9, 2009 . 8:12am

image Bad news Tales fans. Rikiya Koyama, the voice actor that said Tales of Vesperia was coming to the Wii, made a mistake.

Koyama updated his blog and explained he meant Tales of Graces when he was wrote Tales of Vesperia. Graces comes out next month and Koyama apologized to all the parties he affected.

I suppose that includes fans that aren’t taking the news well.

Better to put resources towards a new game specifically for the Wii than to waste them on a watered down port anyways.

could have been cool but o well (im thinking of getting it for ps3)

  • DudeOnly

That’s how it should be Vesperia+Wii=FAIL

  • malek86

Well, it did sound a bit strange.

  • MadMirko

In his defense, Tales games are cranked out at such speed that it’s easy to mix them up.

people actually took this seriously? lol… I thought it was suspicious for a PS360 game to be ported to Wii.

What happened to that one voice actor saying that ToV [for PS3] was coming out in English? Was that debunked or?

I thought it was very strange too, but I gave Koyama-san the benefit of the doubt, for he is the awesome voice that is Victor (Busou Renkin), Basch (FF XII), and Yamato (Naruto), lol.. Not that the Wii Vesperia news had anything to do w/ me in the first place as I have the 360 ver and would get the PS3 ver eventually.. That shot of him is so goofy, but man he has such a deep and cool voice.

The timing was odd too, if it ever materializes it wouldn’t be announced now.

I actually wish they ported it properly just to shut up the people asking for it not to be ported. the game didn’t push either HD platform where it was on, it could be recreated on the Wii just fine.
