Funnily enough those “Monster …” games are not big in the West, and they had no problem with the similarity in Japan.

Foto (like in photo as in photography) Showdown sounds like an app with gaming functions.

Dumb name. At least monster finder gave you a clue as to the games content. People will take one look at the name and assume its another minigame compilation, with camera play.
Bad move.

I can sort of understand why they'd change it, since “Monster Finder” sounds a little too similar to all the other “Monster” games out there. (Monster Hunter, Monster Rancher, etc), but Foto Showdown? WTH is a Foto?
