European fans of Marvelous games rejoice! Rising Star just confirmed release windows for the following:

February 2010

Animal Kororo (NDS)

Half-Minute Hero (PSP)

Way of the Samurai 3 (Gambridge, Xbox 360 / PlayStation 3)

March 2010

Avalon Code (NDS)

Fragile Dreams (Nintendo Wii)

My World My Way (NDS)

Rune Factory Frontier (Nintendo Wii)

In case anyone’s wondering about Sky Crawlers, Namco Bandai are publishing that game themselves in "Europe and beyond" in February 2010.

har har, Rune Factory Frontier… on schedule? biggest joke I’ve heard all day, by the time it comes out it’ll be a year old in US… that’s not on schedule, that’s ridiculously late.

    • Tokyo Guy

It seems Europe continues to be on the back-burner despite its growing market size…

I’ve heard too much bad stuff about Fragile to care much about it anymore, but I’ll keep my eyes open for Half-Minute Hero.

Oh, and maybe Rune Factory too. As long as it’s not 50hz.

Unfortunately Fragile in fact wasn’t very good despite having some artistic merits.. I suppose most people are too curious about it alrdy for the last year and must try it at all cost, to just see how flawed it is for themselves. Set your expectation low and you might end up liking it (it’s sad I know..). Marvelous should port this to PS3 w/ motion control and improved control/graphics. You can’t miss Half Minute Hero, one of the best PSP games.

Fragile’s not theirs to port, they licensed it from Namco.

        • Aoshi00

Right, it’s actually by XSeed here.. I’m not good w/ publishers and such and I always get them mixed up.. at any rate, I was just hoping it would be nice the rest of the game looks like the cutscenes, kind of like Trusty Bell.

  • I picking up Sky Crawlers and Fragile. Had those games on my radar for like a year now. The 2010 gonna be great!

  • Chow

Coincidentally, I just started to play my copy of Way of the Samurai 3 here in Canada.

  • It’s a good day to be European (no, not really.. but you know at least we KNOW now).

  • Ereek

Ah, everyone should try Avalon Code. There are some design flaws, but it’s really a very fun game.

  • Randgriz

I can get my hands on…

  • i wonder if they change the voices to each language on EUR ver?

Only western big companies (Ubisoft, Activision, etc.) and Nintendo do that regularly. Small publishers and other big japanese companies will usually leave the game in english.
