I really would like to get a black Wii when it's released in the US but… There is no account transfer methods like with the PS3, so there is no way to move all of my data. I've built up a very nice collection!

I only wish I could move it somehow… I got a black Wii mote the other day and I must say the quality feels greater then with the white ones I've had since launch.

Maybe now they can scale forward their Wii game production.

Well, nintendo always knows what they are doing. I mean, the even won once againts google and microsoft in the business board

Yeah, I think I'd probably go for a Charcoal or Onyx Wii, but now I'm wondering how soon the Wii HD or Wii2 would come. It's not too bad, since there's only a handful of games I'd want to play on it right now, and I could probably wait to play them thanks to my hugely backlogged PS3 queue.

You kidding? Wii has the most interesting games right now, Nintendo only needs to step up if the competition starts trying harder.

they were probably producing them too fast and now have a little bit of stock to burn, and of course are not selling at the same pace, so producing in excess would be inapropriate.

These companies don't like to have money invested lying on storage, they like to sell all they produce, so it's only normal.

They did the same with Gamecube a few years back and back then people overeacted… (back then they freezed the whole producing pipeline because they had enough stock) turns out it was just a business decision to maximize profit and minimize risk.

It really sucks to be on their associate part providers pants though, that surely had shipping predictions that will not be met now, and thus lower profit expectations for the year, but that's not Nintendo's problem.
