A Yakuza 4 Screenshot Beatdown

Yakuza 3? No, we’re talking Yakuza 4 now. The latest game in the Yakuza series will arrive in Japan on March 18, as announced in Famitsu.

The news comes with a gang of battle screenshots that feature characters other than Kiryu. Including Kiryu, Yakuza 4 has four playable characters. Each one has their own story and battle style.

The man staring at his cell phone is Shun Akiyama, a street loan agent. Shun was a homeless drifter, but by a stroke of luck he was next to a bank as it exploded and collected a fortune.

That’s Taiga Saejima who is about to throw another gangster. He was arrested and convicted for killing 18 other mobsters. After twenty five years behind bars, Saejima escaped and is on the streets.

You get to play a cop in Yakuza 4 too. Masayoshi Tanimura is one of Kamurocho crooked officers.

I know it's kind of mean, but I still can't help but laugh that I'll be playing Ryu ga Gotoku 4 by the time Europe is playing Yakuza 3, lol. Definitely can't wait for this though! It's going to be epic.
But then again..when HASN'T Ryu ga Gotoku been epic?
