Keroro RPG Set For March

By Spencer . December 9, 2009 . 10:36am

krpgTales of Graces just got on the market and there’s already another Tales game to look forward to. Well, kind of. Keroro RPG: The Knight, Warrior, and Legendary Pirate is made by the Tales team and borrows the trademark linear motion battle system. Basically, it’s a Tales spin off starring Sgt. Frog.

Namco Bandai announced Keroro RPG: The Knight, Warrior, and Legendary Pirate will be finished on March 4, 2010. A pictograph password system was also revealed. Players can unlock over 300 treasure maps with codes consisting of five symbols. An example treasure map is below, and it looks like these secret items are going to be tough to find without them.

You know how the game’s title mentions a “legendary pirate”? Here’s a teaser image of Captain Keparou.

    Can’t wait!

Oh god Q1 2010 is so busy.

  • MadMirko

Heh, the first proper Tales game in ages! About time!

I WISH AND HOPE bamco decides to go stateside with this!

  • sdragon21

I see this, Vesperia PS3, and Tales Of Graces coming to the US next year.

    • nyoron

I wish I had your optimism. Graces has a decent chance, Vesperia is a longshot, but Keroro? Tales + DS + 2D + most likely expensive to license + virtually unknown in the US + it’s anime = lolno

I agree. I don’t see this coming over stateside for exactly the same reasons.

    • Kris

I really hope so, but I doubt it.
Well, I’m still holding out hope for Vesperia PS3, due to the massive improvements, the amazing boost in sales for the PS3 version in Japan, the things Troy Baker has supposedly said, and the fact that it’s one of the best RPGs of this generation.
