A Closer Look At The Tales of Graces / [email protected] Crossover

By Spencer . December 14, 2009 . 10:20am

Starting on December 16, you can dress the three Tales of Graces girls with [email protected]: Dearly Stars outfits.

Sophie, Cheria, and Pascal dress as Eri, Ryo, and Ai respectively. Costumes are active during battle and cutscenes. Here’s an example of an event where everyone is wearing their normal outfits…

… and the same scene with [email protected] cosplay.

Each costume is locked to a specific character (no, you can’t dress Asbel like Ryo) and costs 400 Wii Points ($4). Purchase all of them and the girls do a special battle winning pose.

  • $4 each, Really? Why must people fall for this trap?

    • malek86

Yeah, I guess trap is the right word. In a sense.

    • endaround

$4 each? Heck i wouldn’t be surprised if they are idol master fans who only buy Tales of Graces to be able to buy the costumes.

  • holyPaladin

    wow idol

  • Xien12

    Why Ryou? Isn’t Ryou a guy? >_>

  • Their original costumes don’t look that great anyways >>;

    • Hraesvelgr

Their original costumes are perfectly fine, Sophie aside. And even then, Sophie’s no Luke or Lloyd.

  • lostinblue

    well, they look good.

    but not $4 good.

  • So do we know now how DLC works in this game? I mean do you need access to the Japanese Shop Channel to download costumes? Or is there a way to download DLC(mainly to enter the pre-order bonus/BoA codes) through the game it’s self(like in FF4: The After Years)?

  • vall03

    poor Asbel…. hahaha

  • Vanilla

I barked out a laugh at that first victory screenshot.

The [email protected] costumes look really awkward to me. Actually, I think the only original costume I don’t like it Asbel’s. And while I don’t like characters like Cheria, I LOVE her original costume.

  • Eri’s costume is very similar to Miki’s more recent costumes, at least the flappy part on the back.
