Tales of Graces With 100% More Hatsune Miku

By Spencer . December 17, 2009 . 2:55am

Next week’s Tales of Graces downloadable content pack changes Sophie into Hatsune Miku. On the day before Christmas Eve, players can purchase the costume for 400 Wii Points ($4).

The Hatsune Miku outfit is active throughout the game, even during cutscenes.

Wow, Sophie is a spitting image of Hatsune Miku! It’s as if Namco Bandai designed her to look like the ultra popular vocaloid idol…

“Wow, Sophie is a spitting image of Hatsune Miku! It’s as if Namco Bandai designed her to look like the ultra popular vocaloid idol…”

    Wouldn’t surprise me.

True dat, Namco Bandai wants me to hate them, rly, they shout for it, HATE US NIWA, HATE US!

      Stop the Vocaloid-DLC, PLEASE.

  • Christmas Eve, 400 Wii Points, excessive length of twin-tails… it’s all starting to make sense.

The minute they started adding the Vocaloid DLC, I thought “If they don’t make purple haired girl look like the green haired girl it wouldn’t make any sense”.

Too much Hatsune Miku. She’s in more games than Mario is now, right?

  • I REALLY want this game to get localized! T_T

Other then the usual complaint about how a single costume is overpriced at $4+, there’s another issue I have with the costumes in this game in general. In this game, titles provide you with an equip effect and allow you to become more powerful as you gain SP and eventually master the title. In order to use these costumes, you have to keep a specific title equipped. This means that you sacrifice the improvement of your character and the equip effect (these title’s equip effect is the costume change). Because of this, I rarely feel like equipping these titles at all. It seems like a waste. I don’t like having to sacrifice character growth just so I can have a little change of scenery. I would be more willing to pay for the content if they just added an extra equipment slot that was used solely for outfits. And then there’s always that nagging feeling that I’ll have to buy the outfits a second time if a PS3 version with extra content is released.

PS: most probably only ppl who have heard miku’s song will understand this… (the only song i heard, and i liked it O.O)
