Did you know Little King’s Story had a multiplayer feature that had to be scrapped from the final build of the game? It also had a first chapter that never made it into the final build either, and was replaced by a different introduction to the game.

This is definitely a game trying to sway me to pony up for a PAL Wii just so I can play it already…

What sort of wii do you have? It’s been out in the US and Japan for months

I’ve got a US wii, but I currently live in the UK, which would mean having to import. And after the nasty me-only glitch I got from importing MySims Kingdom, I’m just not willing to shell out the cash to import and am contemplating whether or not I double up on having a Wii. It’s a sucky situation really~

You should import, the US version has extras to it and runs at 60 Hertz.

Plus if you just want to skip the region locking on it, there are ways to do it. I often import US games and have a PAL console.

Lol, pressed the wrong button XD

Ah well, I meant to reply that it’s more the price of importing that stops me. I’ve been stung more than once by VATs and whatnot when I’ve imported.. and glitchy games that I can’t get to play (See MySims Kingdom).

Haven’t heard about the Gekko channel before though.

Ouch, that sounds annoying. I’ve been considering getting a Japanese 360 fo shooters and Lost Odyssey, but that seems like such a hassle. :p

          • lostinblue

not really, you just install a digital unsigned Gekko channel on your Wii and every time you want to boot a import game you go to that channel instead of the regular Wii DVD one… and boot it.

            It works for me.

Considering how small the development staff is, the final product is very impressive.

I couldn’t agree more. Little King Story is one of those games that blew me away after playing it for 5 minutes. This is a perfect example of the kind of 3rd party exclusive games Nintendo needs to invest in.
