Classic Controller Pro Bundled With Monster Hunter Tri

By Ishaan . January 25, 2010 . 8:01am Capcom confirmed that the Monster Hunter Tri Classic Controller Pro bundle from Japan will be making its way to North America as well, this April, for $59.99. The game by itself will cost the standard $49.99.

The controller included in the bundle will be black, but Nintendo of America confirmed that both the black and white models will also be available separately for $19.99. Classic Controller Pros have a second set of shoulder buttons and ergonomic grips.

WiiSpeak support, a feature we hope is in the game, still hasn’t been confirmed by Capcom. Monthly pricing for Monster Hunter Tri, if there is any, has not been announced either.

The CC Pro is an awesome pad, hope the bundled game lives up to it. ;)

Yes please have Wiispeak support. At this point I am about to just unplug it and throw it in a drawer.

I bought a CC Pro recently and it is awesome. The original classic controller had so many design flaws and wasn’t even that comfortable to hold (which is pretty odd for a Nintendo controller), but the Pro addresses these issues.

If they’ve fixed the MH3 bugs, having the CC Pro for $10+ seems like a pretty good deal!

Hell yeah! I was saving up to buy a classic controller just for this game. I guess with the bundle I save a good 10 bucks.

This is great news, would probably never buy one seperately but since this game is must-buy, that’s a neat bonus. Regarding the monthly payment, I feel pretty certain they won’t make that necessary for the US/EU, since that probably will cut down a lot of sales of this game. It is still trying to gain success in the west and so they’ll start catering the best to the west.
