Square Enix London Studios announced Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition which ships with a pair of paper 3D glasses. TriOviz 3D code gives Batman: Arkham Asylum added depth when you put on the packaged specs. The 3D mode works with all standard and high definition TVs.

Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition also includes six downloadable challenge maps on disc, including crime alley and the insane Scarecrow Nightmare.

The expanded reprint is set for March 26 in Europe and will be available for PS3, Xbox 360, and PCs. A North American release has not been announced at this time.

I might double dip on this if its 29.99 and the PS3 version comes with the 6 maps and the Joker content on the disc, that way I can free up some HDD space and never worry about not having the bonus content.

Space isn’t a prob since I got a 500Gb, and the DLCs were around 100Mb each. But I really want the 3D though, imagine the scarecrow nightmare stages. I actually deleted my save file by accident, so maybe playing it in 3D would give me an excuse to replay this again. I guess these would just come w/ the cheap red/blue paper glasses? I like the IMAX plastic ones, must see Alice in Wonderland in 3D.
