Dream C Club Takes Over Shinjuku

By Spencer . April 16, 2010 . 4:56pm

image Dream C Club is almost a year old, but D3 Publisher is still marketing it and their latest stunt is a big one.

Amane, Setsu, Mian, and Rui from the Xbox 360 game showed up on TV monitors outside Shinjuku Station. Each virtual hostess had a spot on the Yunika Vision’s Times Square-like monitors where they greeted pedestrians, reports Gpara.

Shinjuku Station is said to be the busiest train station in the world. So, D3’s game and to a lesser extent the Xbox 360 got major exposure. Well, at least from people who by the east entrance. The Dream C Club girls will be featured on Yunika Vision until May 9. Check Gpara’s article for times and more photos.

Game’s great, last time I was on my 3rd playthru still haven’t scratched the surface.. I actually want to try out that Misato news report for a month for 800 yen, but the Jpn PSN tickets are so expensive..

Not only is Shinjuku the busiest station in the world, it should be noted that the East exit leads to Kabukicho, Tokyo’s highest concentration of hostess clubs and other adult entertainment establishments. Makes even more sense considering what Dream C Club is all about.
