Poo Bird And Other Bosses In Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow

By Spencer . May 6, 2010 . 11:56am

No joke, Poo Bird is a real boss in Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow. This terrifying beast has two beaks, one on its head and the other poking out of a pink lump of poo. Don’t be too surprised. Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow has “kitschy things in the game, a lot of laughing at itself, the kind of self deprecating humor that kind of pervades the whole Blue Dragon franchise,” Joe Fletcher, Assistant Producer, said in an interview with Siliconera.

There are some fearsome bosses in Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow like the Dragon Ghost. Take a look at some of the monsters lying behind the Otherworld Doors below.

Looks interesting. Might pick it up if I have enough money for it.

I’ve never played a Blue Dragon game, but I might buy this one. Are the stories connected between the games? Do I need to play the older ones to understand some of the story in the game?

This is a sequel to Blue Dragon with the same characters, but it’s a standalone story. One big change is you’re the protagonist and the other Blue Dragon characters are your allies.
