Ignition London have licensed the latest CryEngine for development of a “uniquely crafted combat action-adventure, set for release on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3,” according to a report at Gamasutra.
Ignition presently have multiple titles targeted at the western market in development that they intend to publish, two of which are WarDevil (in development at London-based Digi-Guys) and a first-person shooter developed using Unreal Engine 3 (being worked on internally at Ignition Florida).
“For us, the advanced cross-platform technologies offered by Crytek were the natural choice. The comprehensive tools and expert support provided by Crytek, combined with the experience of our team, are already delivering impressive results,” said Ignition Entertainment CEO, Vijay Chadha, in reference to the decision to license the tech.
