A Pac-Man Watch For High Rollers

By Spencer . May 20, 2010 . 5:17pm

imageThis weekend, Pac-Man turns 30. His up all night ghost chasing days are a faint memory. Now, Namco Bandai’s mascot is addicted to Twitter, owns a pizza parlor, and hangs out with Hollywood directors.

Pac-Man needs goods to suit his new persona, sophisticated merchandise like this gold plated Pac-Man wristwatch. Pac-Man, in his youthful pixilated days, is on the face. Laser etched cherries are on the buckle. You can purchase this watch for 18,500 yen ($205) in Japan, chump change for Namco Bandai’s most recognizable mascot.

Other items for the Pac-Man connoisseur include 30th anniversary wine glasses (5,250 yen / $58) and a leather wallet (14,800 yen / $165).
