Awesome that Capcom is doing quite a lot of trailers for this game in Japan I just hope that Capcom advertises this game well in the US. A bunch of magazine, Internet and TV advertisements and it should sell well.

Well, Okami was pretty famous (that is what it looked like), but i do hope the US branch makes a good amount of ad :D

You do know it sold horribly in the U.S. right?

nope i didnt knew, that is why i said “That is what it looked like”… but it was pretty popular where i live o.0, and is weird when a game becomes popular where i live

Loving what I’m seeing! Watching the trailers makes it painful for the wait!

does there exist an expression more meaningful and powerful, after “more than sold”?, i need this word right now, pl0x

This has to be the most technically impressive DS game ever made. The scope seems pretty huge.
FireCouch
Why. Is. It. On. D.S.

Because 1)No one bought Okami on PS2, even on Wii 2)The gameplay makes sense given the interface for drawing. 3)U MAD?
FireCouch
Not mad considering this game will not be as great as Okami on PS2/Wii. Hell, I have a DS. I’m just getting annoyed at how the best games now come out for portables because of the development costs. And now that 3DS, and I’m assuming PSP 2 also, will have such great graphics, their development costs will also increase. This means that portable games will start doing what Consoles have, which is make the same mediocre games over and over again in order to appeal to the masses. No more unique games.Of course, this is just speculation and of course there will be the occasional actual good game on a console.

So essentially what you’re saying is that just because it’s on a handheld, it could never be as great as its console counterpart? That’s pretty narrowminded of you.

Aww, looks adorable.
I know this is blasphemy….but I haven’t even started the first game. It’s sitting on my shelf unopened. ^^;;;;
Still planning on picking up Okamiden day 1….but I’ll probably not open it until I finish Okami. ^^;;;;;

I’m only a little bit ahead of you, I only played Okami for a few hours. I sold the Wii ver and only have the PS2 ver left, I thought the waggle made the gameplay really frustrating, the touch pen should be fine though. My very first DS game was actually Goemon DS and it also had the cool ink look. One thing that bugs me is the gibberish talk, it’s distracting and gets on my nerves (it might be cute for the first 5 mins), I’d rather them not make any noise at all.. (one reason I sold Flower Sun & Rain lol)I love the bosses and music here.
Joanna
I heard of Okami a little latter so I could only find the Wii version. Hopefully it isn’t too bad to control for me. ^^;;;
