Rising Star Want To Know What Games You’d Like Localized In Europe

By Ishaan . July 22, 2010 . 10:14am

Rising Star Games have a forum thread where they take recommendations for games they should look into localizing for Europe. It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that the thread is presently 48 pages long, and that the last page or so has everyone asking for Deadly Premonition.

Before you join the crazy party, remember — a Deadly Premonition localization may well already be in the works and SNK titles are now in the cards as well.

Rising Star are far and away the best European publisher in my books. I didn’t even know they had a forum dedicated to a localisation wish list. Brilliant.

  • I’m not even a European customer, yet I feel like I want to support them, due to their stellar efforts.

  • Best topic on the RSG forum. A goldmine for niche titles and stuff to look forward to or import. I like to post on their forums. It’s a very small but passionate community… and RSG are the best publisher in Europe.

Realistically speaking, I doubt they could ever get the right to any Tales game, or any other games by big companies.

So I guess my vote would go to… well, any Sting game would do, we haven’t seen any here since Riviera PSP. But I’d especially like Yggdra Unison. That, or they could try and get Brandish. I’d love them forever if they could pull it off.

No More Heroes, Afrika, Aquanaut’s Holiday: Kakusareta Kiroku for PS3. I think I’ll sign up to RSG forums right now!

why not simply import Afrika? PS3 doesn’t have region lock and it came out in US… dollar is worth less than euro too…

      • capristrider

Thanks mate, you are right, I will look into importing it, I forgot it was release in the US!

I know! absence of region lock was the best feature Sony implemented this gen ;)

If they localize Deadly Premonition……please reanimate the character models so they are not rocking back and forth like mental patients when they talk

Arc Rise Fantasia. And maybe Muramasa: The Demon Blade, too, if they don’t already have it.
