Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 Screens Feature Lots Of Angry Expressions

By Ishaan . July 23, 2010 . 3:40pm

Namco Bandai certainly have quite the upcoming line-up, especially for this Fall, with Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom, Pac-Man Party and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2. That last one in particular looks great in screenshots.

CyberConnect2 went all-out this time around. Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 has over 40 selectable characters, and the facial expressions during combat in the screenshots look really promising. And at the top of this latest batch of furious screens is Lars Alexandersson from Tekken 6 who is joining the roster as well.

  • when i first looked at the picture of lars i was like OMFG ED FROM FMA IN IN THIS GAME ….then i cried

    • haha for a second i though it was Ed as well xD

  • Lol, but i specially like when in this kind of games, the character potrait next to the life gauge, changes depending if you are attacking, receiving damage, or normal… i think in a “tales of” games i saw this too…

  • I don’t follow Naruto, but I’ll be getting this… for some reason…

    • Same thing, I found the trailers weirdly compelling and the cel-shading is positively phenomenal. Besides, Asuma is playable and I liked him fairly well during my brief tryst with the show.Incidentally, I recognize your icon from somewhere, but it’s been driving me a mite up the wall every time I see you post because I can’t quite discern its origin. Go figure. Misplaced déjà vu, I think.

      • Oho, Asuma you say? Well then, I am now even more intrigued. I’ve never seen an episode with him in it, but the… ahem… ‘fan-art’ I’ve seen has made him one of my preferred characters. As for my icon, it’s a crude crop of a huge Grisser wallpaper, if that rings a bell.

        • It sure does ring a bell! But that’s neither here nor there.

…Certainly not (for) here, though. So, uh, gaming. Yeah, that Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 looks pretty swish, all right.
