New Twinkle Queen Video Looks A Little…Stiff

By Ishaan . July 23, 2010 . 1:41pm

Here’s your first look at upcoming Wii eroge crossover fighter, Twinkle Queen, in action. Judging by the video, it looks a little stiff. When dealing with peculiar games like this, one gets really curious as to development cost and sales estimates on the publishing end. I wonder how much Milestone are expecting of this.

“Stiff,” huh? I see what you did there, young man.

It… kinda reminds me of Mugen, the character animation seems like it is unnaturally sped-up and the effects are of such low grade I’d think this was some homebrew project if I didn’t know better. The backgrounds are bland and blurry, the super-moves are nonspectacular and the never-ending shrieks of the girls makes me cringe. I have already lost all initial interest in this title, sad to say.

Wow…the characters sure only move their arms and legs…no other body motions (its like their hips and back are immobile). I think I will buy this just for the kitsch factor.

Vanguard Princess, which is free on the PC, looks and moves better than this game.

I really wish I could get all the information of how this all started……it so random.
Anyways I’ll get it because you don’t see this very often.

Am I the only one that keeps pronouncing this “Twinkle Tween”? Not on purpose but my tongue gets tied.

  • lol, you can just, spam shoots and that’s it

Yeah the body movements are still but the gameplay is anything but and the most important part to me. The graphics or still better than i once took them for though.

  • Looking awfully poverty there.

  • I… don’t think I’m getting this any longer. Fluidity is required in my cross-over eroge fighters.

I wasn’t expecting much to begin with from an eroge cross-over fighter (especially one that chooses campanella and koihime), but I was at least expecting something above the level of “my first doujin game.”
