Manga Factory Launching “Escape to Tokyo” Tour

At the time we last covered Manga Factory, a new publishing venture by ex-Aurora Publishing employees, the company hadn’t publicly revealed any specifics as to their business model or licenses, except that they would be focusing heavily on digitally distributed content.

 

While the revealing of any licenses may be a little further off, Manga Factory did make an announcement this past week, revealing their new tour division. Yes, this is exactly what it sounds like.

 

Come September, Manga Factory will launch its “Escape to Tokyo” tour, which, as the website indicates, seems to be geared primarily at women (although, guys are allowed, too). Here’s a rundown of the activities, quoted directly from the site:

The tour takes place from September 13th – 20th. No prices have been announced yet, but you can sign up at the tour site for e-mail updates.
