Tales Of Graces F Demo Detailed

By Spencer . September 6, 2010 . 1:47am

Sometime after this year’s Tokyo Game Show, PlayStation 3 owners will get a chance to explore the Forest of Mystery. That’s the dungeon Namco Bandai is releasing for the Tales of Graces F demo.

The downloadable demo has seven characters, including Richard. New character specific moves are part of the demo too. Specifics were not given, but Namco Bandai said accel mode and hi-ougis (mystic artes) are in.

Look for the Tales of Graces F demo later this month on the PlayStation Store.

  • You were looking at my Facebook page, weren’t you? I’m kidding, lol. I just think it’s kind of funny that I just wrote about this a few minutes before this post since I randomly checked the official website and found an update about the PSN demo, heh.

Can’t wait to see what all is in the demo first-hand though. It’s gonna be great! Oh and just on a totally random note, now that Richard is fully playable, I’m assuming we will be able to use Hiou Zetsuenshou in the demo.

That was shown as his hi-ougi in the Jump scan released last week anyway.

The hi-ougi isn’t actually specific to Richard though. It’s a common hi-ougi in Tales games and has been used by a few other characters as well. Such as, Stahn from the Tales of Destiny: Director’s Cut, Flynn from Tales of Vesperia, Reid from Tales of Eternia, and even in Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 if your character used a Twinsword style.

It just means, “Burning Phoenix” basically. Anyway! The more you know, I guess, lol.

  • The most interesting thing is that it has so many playable characters, their really putting their all into this demo

  • vrakanox

    WOOO Richard! :D

  • goronyan

I almost bought the wii bundle

i can’t wait to play it

  • regreto

yay! i can’t wait to play it =)

  • puchinri

So can this be downloaded on a US PS3, or you have to have an imported PS3 for the demo to be available?

    • Sakurazaki

You sign up on a Japanese account.

      • puchinri

        Oh, alright, thanks!
(I’m looking it up now, but in case I don’t find the answer, can you have a NA and JP PSN account?)

        • Sakurazaki

Yes; you can find a tutorial on Youtube for it if you can’t read Japanese.

  • Finalstar2007

Why omg why cant we have these games outside of Japan? seriously the games got a huge fanbase whyy? i would buy 2 copies just for support

  • *sigh*

  • Dimentionalist

Hey, it’ll be just like the Vesperia 360 demo! When you download it on an American console, it’ll be in English!

    …I wish…

  • JustaGenericUser

Blah blah blah no US release blah blah blah Bamco sucks blah blah blah.

Just to get that over with.

  • Hei

Well it sounds great but I’m not getting too excited until a U.S. release is announced..if ever. Namco Bandai being the jerks they are.

  • wharcraff

I hope the Demo has the intended effect. Would be great to see the sales do well enough to provide the possibility of a N.A release.
