What’s Going On With Samurai Warriors 3′s DLC In North America?

By Ishaan . September 19, 2010 . 4:28pm

Here’s the box art for the Japanese version of Samurai Warriors 3, published by Koei in Japan:

And here’s the North American version, published by Nintendo:

Notice the difference? The Nintendo Wi-Fi logo on the Japanese cover is red, referring to the game’s paid downloadable content, while it’s blue on the North American cover.

What does this mean? Either:

1. We aren’t getting the downloadable scenarios at all.

2. We’ll be getting them free of cost.

3. They’re included on the disc itself.

        Worst application of magic, ever.

Well, somebody had to think of the children.

That’s Nintendo for ya. Fine for in-game, bad for covers.

      NO BOOBIES~?

  • How’s it in Europe where it’s out and lacks the red logo as well?

    • Character editor and historical mode (both DLC in Japan) are included for free.

The European/Australian version has been out for months now. It also has the blue wifi logo and there is no DLC. The only online component is the murasame castle mode. The US version will almost certainly be the same.

The PAL version boxart does keep the cleavage though :P

The altered the girl’s outfit too.

Anyway, I was planning on getting this but if we aren’t getting the DLC I won’t be buying the game. I don’t have time to spend on edited and/or censored games.

wrong , the wifi logo was on EU boxart too , all we got was Murasama Mode online , thats it. dont even expect something cool like DLC lol
