Trinity: Souls of Zill ‘Oll Coming In First Quarter Of 2011

Last week marked the first time Tecmo and Koei attended a Tokyo Game Show under a joint banner, following their merger in 2009. Given that both companies had several different titles across their combined properties to talk about at the event, it’s no surprise that they’re rather pleased.

Like many others at TGS, Tecmo Koei were also a little more global in their showings this year. Among their TGS announcements was a release window for Trinity: Souls of Zill O’ll for North America. Tecmo Koei have their PlayStation 3 fantasy RPG pegged for the first quarter of 2011.

Souls of Zill O’ll is the first Trinity game to receive a proper localization. If you need to get caught up, here’s an interview we did with the game’s producer last month.

Well I don’t look forward to this game since it looks pretty mediocre.

They should just stop to cross the Dynasty Warriors Gameplay with other games. :I

  • MrRobbyM

Meh. Dungeon Siege III looks better.

    • Hm? I dont even know what type of RPG DSIII is

    • Guest

Its not though. This game offers more combat elements due to the fact oyou can switch characters on the fly and chain group attacks into combo moves

Nice art style but gameplay doesn’t look nice.

Saw some gameplay videos. Looks rather like Dynasty Warriors with slightly more interesting combat and some really questionable visual post-processing choices. No buy unless there’s some great pleasant surprises about the game’s mechanics or story.

  • What the? Is that Barrett from FF7?

  • Q1, well I wonder if it will be hard to get people away from teh Mass Effect 2 (PS3) at least

    • Yusaku_Matsuda70s

Too many games are coming in at Q1 2011… Just check out the release dates! This game has very little chance at success.
