imageGame Arts is self-publishing Lunar: Silver Star Harmony in PAL territories. The PSP game will be released as a digital download on October 13.

“We are very thrilled that Lunar: Silver Star Harmony will be added to the lineup of the PlayStation Store of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. The game was chosen for IGN’s PSP™ Game of the Month: March 2010 after its release in North America, and I am sure it will attract many RPG fans in Europe and across PAL territories,” said Kazuki Morishita, President of Game Arts.

Lunar: Silver Star Harmony will be the first official release of Lunar in the region. Game Arts released the same Lunar: Silver Star Harmony demo on the PlayStation Store. Play through it and you’ll start the full game with bonus equipment.

Does that mean no one else wanted to publish it. That’s make me a little sad. I guess at least any profits will be going straight to Game Arts.

p.s. It’s not the first Lunar game to be released Europe. Lunar: Genesis was released here by Rising Star Games unless your trying to forget that one.

On the plus side, digital-only means that they probably won’t incur in any losses, even if the revenues may be pretty low. They don’t even have to translate the script: I guess it will just be in english for all european territories.Basically, it’s all more money for Game Arts.
