LovePlus Coming To Nintendo 3DS

At Nintendo’s ongoing 3DS conference in Tokyo, Konami just confirmed that LovePlus is coming to the Nintendo 3DS with Tag Mode features built into it. No further information has been revealed yet. We’ll keep you posted.

    I am not sure this is actually good for Japanese gamers. Love plus on DS already created Japanese people to marry with DS in public. I wonder what would happen when Love plus is on 3DS.

    This may seem like a cheap jab but if they have the time and money to buy and play these Love plus games (the collectors edition are quiet expensive as I understand it) couldn’t these people get a real girl friend? Asking a person if they want to go out with you isn’t that hard, the worst they can say is no.

    I can see it now, by the time of Playstation 9 (if anyone remember the PS2 commercial) the Japanese people are become an extinct species because everyone are too busy with their boy/girl friend in their brain that they’ve for go procreation.

      Thanks, that’s totally awesome :) The 3D effect is pretty cool, like that puzzle game on DSiware, much better graphics now even though it was pretty good on the DS. Love this trailer as much as the Gyakuten Saiban/Ace Attorney DS one, where Edgeworth was oblivious to the existence of the DS (he was still carrying a GBA that fits in a pocket :) Manaka’s so cute.. sigh..

    Awesome! Love Plus 3DS was inevitable. I can’t wait and I think everyone agrees that Japan is now doomed. haha.

    Maybe they could use the Tag Mode to help players find ACTUAL GIRLS.

      … Well, at least, I know of a small group in Australia that play it. Does that count for anything?

        Mostly I was implying (semi-jokingly) that LovePlus players possess pedophilic tendencies, but I guess you could go with that interpretation if you wanted.

        • There’s a story I can tell about Love Plus and a certain classifications authority, but I suspect telling it would upset a lot of people because it’d shoot out a lot of the assumptions about Love Plus, at least from an official perspective.

          But yes, there are a few girls who play love plus. A tag feature would give us all an excuse to meet up in a capital city, if nothing else.

          • Sure – The general assumption that a lot of people believe the game is in some form dangerous (due to influences on players) would be disputed outright by at least one government agency.

            I’m seeking a request from another classification body now, although preliminary assessment says that they don’t see the same results from what they can justify either.
