Dark Void Developer Working On Several New AAA Titles

Airtight Games may have recently developed Dark Void, but they’re also known for their work on Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge. Following the wrap-up of Dark Void, they’re now working on “several new AAA titles for a variety of markets.”

One of these runs on Unreal Engine 3 and is multiplatform across PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. A job listing on Gamasutra indicates that Airtight are searching for a Senior Environment Artist for the title with at least four years of experience and one AAA game on their resumé.

I agree with that. I did appreciate Dark Void because it had a lot of cool ideas and a lot of soul, but it still wasn’t a very good final product.

They can shoot for making AAA titles… doesn’t mean they will be in the end.
