On November 26th, Nintendo will open a new Pokémon Center to the Japanese public in Osaka, measuring at nearly 9,000 square feet, effectively making it the largest Pokémon store in the world. In addition to Meowth and Pikachu, new starter from Pokémon Black/White, Pokabu, has been added to the Pokémon Center Osaka logo.

The store, as reported by Anime News Network will carry over 2,500 kinds of Pokémon goods, including exclusive ones to commemorate its opening. A "union room" will allow Pokémon players and fans to gather for card game tournaments.

  • Considering Satoshi/Ash got a Wotter/Mijumaru in the anime, you’d figure they would make it onto the logo instead of Pokabu. :<

    • he also got a pokabu

    • wharcraff

He also got an emboar/pokabu in episode 4 of the new anime.

  • karasuKumo

The question is will it have a room that looks like the Pokemon Centers in the games with cosplaying staff? That I’d love, all security guards should be officer jenny and all receptionists should be nurse joy (all female of course) XD.

  • I’d like to visit sometime
