The Shops, Services, And Hot Springs In Yukumo Village

If you need to get caught up on what we’ve covered so far of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd’s Yukumo Village, you can do so here:

Yukumo Village’s Farm and Felynes

Yukumo Village’s Bathhouse and Quest Area

Multiplayer baths:

We’ve covered Yukumo Village’s bathhouse once before (see above), but here’s a quick update on that. Felynes aren’t the only ones who can accompany you into the hot springs — your multiplayer friends can do it, too, as pictured above.

If someone’s upgraded the water in their bathhouse, other players that enter their game will be able to take advantage of the upgraded benefits, too.

Now let’s take a look at the inhabitants of the village. Like other Monster Hunter games before it, Portable 3rd lets you interact with a variety of villagers in Yukumo, each one with their own service to aid you in shaping your character and completing your quests.

The Mayor:

You’ve met her before, but that, above, is the mayor of Yukumo Village. It looks she’s one of the several people in the game that can give you quests.

Shops and Services:

Portable 3rd features a heavy emphasis on cooperation with Felyne partners, whether it’s on your farm, at the bathhouse or on quests. This is Nekoba, from whom you can hire Felyne partners to fight alongside you.

And this is the local hawker, who can sell you an assortment of items. You’ll want to check back regularly, since he sells different items depending on the situation and also offers deals from time to time.

That above is the general store, from where you can purchase items you need prior to quests. Portable 3rd has so many stores and item-management centres, I’m starting to get a little confused as to which does what…

And those are two places you’re likely to visit frequently – the weapons store and, next to it, the smithery where you’ll be able to have new equipment forged. A Felyne dedicated to providing armour services can be found here, too.

These aren’t the only villagers, of course. You’ll be able to chat up the regular townsfolk and they’ll have different things to offer you from time-to-time as well.

Pugi!

If you still feel lonely despite all the company, Pugi is back in Portable 3rd, too. You can keep him as a pet and dress him up. He can interact with your Felynes as well. Look, it’s a rodeo!
