Reach For The Skies With Sky Jumper Sol

This is Sky Jumper Sol, a new DSiWare game developed by Nintendo. The objective in Sky Jumper Sol is to pull yourself the top of every stage.

It’s a little reminiscent of some of the areas in Super Mario Galaxy where you need to pull yourself from star to star, if you’ve played that game. Sky Jumper Sol has you collecting items and dodging obstacles along the way.

Sky Jumper Sol hits the Japanese DSiWare service on November 10th for 200 DSiWare points ($2). Here’s a few screenshots of the swinging sun.

  • This seems to be a Japanese version of Aura Aura Climber which we got on the North American DSiWare store back in February. It’s funny seeing such a large gap in release dates, but I guess it makes sense since Nintendo Software Technology Corporation is US based. Good to spread the love around — it has a lot of content for just $2.

Is the game also 2$ here? Even if it’s a bit more expensive, this one looks really interesting, so I think I shall have to pick it up once I get a 3DS. :3
