Chaos;Head Noah Headed To iPhone

By Ishaan . November 15, 2010 . 6:09pm

Nitroplus aren’t quite done with their hit visual novel, Chaos;Head, just yet. This week, the game is headed to the iPhone and iPod Touch, courtesy of developer, Red Flagship.

The iPhone version will be based on Chaos;Head Noah, which was an updated port of the game, published by 5pb for the Xbox 360, with new story routes and character graphics.

Chaos;Head has an interesting feature. At certain points during conversations, you go into delusional mode and are able to choose between either a positive or a negative delusion. Alternatively, you can also choose not to do anything at all, until the delusion wears off.

Chaos;Head Noah will be available on the Japanese iTunes store on November 18th for 3,000 yen.

oh, what I wouldn’t give to see this localized…

    • Ladius

The Pc edition of the original Chaos Head has been fantranslated years ago, if you are interested.

  • PrinceHeir

i need to watch this along with Stein’s;Gate.

if i may ask here, does anybody know where to buy legit japanese visual novel games, translated and non-translated one’s? im just curios that’s all ^^

Jlist is a decent place for imports, although their prices will make your eyes widen at first. Aside from them, there’s also Himeyashop and Erogeshop. If you type those into Google, you should see links to their sites. You’ll find both translated and untranslated games on there.

There’s also the G-collections site, which is kind of like buying directly from the publishers, but a lot of the stuff on there is of the adult variety.

For non-translated ones, you could use a shipping/shopping service to buy from Japanese stores (used ones, so cheaper, still expensive–Some of them have restrictions on adult material, but customer support will tell you if that applies to your area). For English ones, MangaGamer (digital only), JastUSA whose products you can buy on other sites too, like Right Stuf which sometimes discounts them (Most of them fall into the level of porn, as Ishaan mentioned)

    • Darkrise

It’s not a good idea to watch the Chaos; Head anime… It’s so horribly adapted that I grew disgusted and dropped it after the 3rd ep… Even a majority of ppl who never played the visual novel and only watched the anime found it mediocre, or just crap.

  • kactaplb

I’m still angry they released this for 360 and not pc…wtf 5pb? Same with 11 eyes crossover…

    • Chippel

Noah (360) is an enhanced port of the original PC game.

    • Darkrise

Theres already a pc of Chaos; Head which was the original(fan translated). Once the original does really well, they port if over to a console with more extra features and extended story, etc… And then maybe an anime. It’s just how it is lol.

      • kactaplb

I know what you mean but it seems 5pb is obsessed with 360, and only 360. How long did it take for steins;gate to be “ported” over to the pc… eroge need to be pc first. Anyways, just me raging at 5pb over 360 releases:3

edit: just barely noticed there was a psp version…off to play

  • FHOIW

I see “stateside” instead of “to iPhone”…
    Could it be… Delusions?!

    • neocatzon

you might be chose green dot(positive delusion)
please keep doing that and you’ll get Cg scenes where we stand in the line buying this game on the first day

      • FHOIW

I CAN ALREADY SEE THE ENDING!!!

        • http://www.siliconera.com/ Ishaan

This made me think of The World God Only Knows…

          • FHOIW

It was a direct reference. LOL

Haha, I suspected as much, but I wasn’t sure!

Japanese people, as shocking as it may sound people in America, Africa and Europe actually like visual novels so for god’s sake localize them and release them worldwide!
