Sheena Fujibayashi Sealed For Tales Of The World: Radiant Mythology 3

By Spencer . December 7, 2010 . 7:45pm

imageTales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3 has another familiar face from Tales of Symphonia. Sheena Fujibayashi, the clumsy assassin, is confirmed to be a playable character in the PSP game.

As Jump mentioned a few days earlier, Shing from Tales of Hearts, Natalia from Tales of Abyss, and Flynn from Tales of Vesperia are in the game too.

Still waiting North America for Tales of Graces F. =/

    • start learning hiragana and katakana my friend.

      • Darkrise

Would be great except my college no longer has a japanese course and I don’t have that much free time to go attend on a weekend. =( Only thing i can depend on is my hearing. I can at least understand half of what they say.

        • I need help on the hearing. I can only catch the first two or three words and I’m lost. xD

    • Everything passes eventually

  • vall03

must be fun to still be excited over a Tales game… *sigh*

  • Dimentionalist

Namco should seal a solid release date for Graces f in the states.

  • Yusaku_Matsuda70s

It’s unfortunately no one actually talks about the Namco games that these articles refer to… but before the responses get loaded with depression, here’s a reminder that might cheer everyone up… Eight more days til the (presumed) reveal of the next Tales game!

    • Barrit

Way to bring my hopes up.. then I remember we won’t be getting it and my hopes come crumbling right back down lol :(

      • Actually, here is a link showing that Namco may indeed have plans to localize some new tales games.

        • Barrit

Is the link to come later? The last thing I read about the localization of Tales games was an interview someone had posted the other day. Not sure if it was real or not, but basically it said they had no plans at this time to localize any since they pay for some of the localization costs.

        • Yusaku_Matsuda70s

Where be them promised delicious sausage LINKS?!

…Oh wait is that the joke? That there is no link because that article doesn’t exist since Namco doesn’t have any plans?! Ooooo that’s cheeky…

    • the week of finals…..

  • PrinceHeir

everytime i hear “Tales” arrgh i give just gonna wait probably 3 years from now on to see if namco can localize 1 tales game. hopefully they can experiment by localizing Xillia here to see if there’s really a market for Tales games.

    • goronyan

if you can study japanese for these “probably next 3 years”, you could play all japanese tales titles with no bigger problems.

  • MizuMikomi

And here comes the onslaught of “When will (Insert Tales game here) be making it stateside? D:” comments. Don’t you guys ever get tired of complaining? I know I did and now I just cave in and import; I mean they really aren’t all that hard to play in Japanese.

And don’t get me wrong, I want Tales of Graces F, Vesperia PS3, and Radiant Mythology 3 in English as much as any other fan. But that doesn’t mean I am going to whine about it on every news article about a Japanese Tales release.

    • epy

I guess its better to whine than just give up and import. Of course I gave up and am importing since long ago, but if the small and vocal Tales fandom stops being vocal, all we are is small. And no one cares about small, silent communities… not that they do now, but you get my point.

      • MizuMikomi

I wasn’t saying the fandom needs to stop being vocal, since there is a way for the fans to be vocal and voice our opinions without whining. =/

Plus the only reason why we are small fanbase, is because Namco Bandai doesn’t put any effort into advertising these games or getting word out about them. If they weren’t so deadest on dumb marketing strategies, Tales would like be more well known here.

Most people have already realized this, but yeah, just saying…

    • Barrit

It’s just sad when other great titles are brought over by Atlus, NISA, and any others I may have missed. I can never get enough RPGs. While I do import some games, I don’t think I could do an RPG. With that much text and story, I would want to know what is being said. You can look up translations, but the amount of text to reference would just make it a bit of a chore in my opinion. The only RPG I’ve imported was Nier Replicant, but after 100% completion of the English version, I already knew what was going on. So all that I can do is whine :(

    • Fonic

Usually, around here I don’t see much “whining” about Tales. Plenty of sarcasm and snark, but there’s nothing wrong with that.

  • I doubt I would mind so much if it weren’t for the fact that we haven’t even heard a peep out of the Tales section of the Namco for localizations since Tales of Vesperia, and well, there have been a crapload of new Tales games since.

At this rate, I’m just going to go see if anyone willing to start a fan translation for the PSP games too. ARGH

  • vadde939

    Tales of never being localized

    • superdry

      Tales of Localization?

You play as a US Tales fan on journey to Bamco HQ to save the western world from no more localization of Tales games.

      • Ladius

The best thing about this game is that it would still be a Japan-only release :(

  • Yui

Ugh, finally! Been waiting for Sheena to turn up in an RM game. Do we get to enjoy cool ninja-related summoning techniques once more? =D

  • AdamBoy64

For localisations, put all your hopes and dreams on the Next Tales Of.
The unveiling of said Tales is nigh.

  • If someone doesn’t know this has been my dream <3

Love Sheena, love this game <3

  • This suck if they not come out in the USA The tales fan of USA want these games. I do, because I am Sheena fanboy after TOS. Anyway I want TOW 2 before this.
