Today, Steam has Resident Evil 5 ($10.20), Bioshock 2 ($9.99), Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box ($5) and The Witcher ($5) in the virtual bargain bin, amongst others. There’s also Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light for $5.10 and the entire Gothic bundle (1 – 4) for $34.99.

Aside from the special daily deals, different publishers from Square Enix/Eidos to EA to Lucasarts are offering their catalogues at reduced prices, too.

I encourage anybody who enjoys cRPGs and doesn’t yet own a copy of The Witcher to use this opportunity to buy it. It’s the best cRPG I’ve played since Planescape: Torment, putting even the past several Bioware releases to shame. Really a remarkable game.
