A Peek At Arcana Heart 3′s Detailed Player Cards

By Ishaan . December 22, 2010 . 8:27am

This movie starts out with Heart Aino introducing five more girls in Arcana Heart 3. In order, they are Petra, Elsa, Clarice, Eko, and Scharlachrot.

Heart also lists out modes available in the game – story, versus, score attack, training, network, and option. When you play online you get an extremely detailed card that keeps track of your matches, arcana type (after you pick a character you pick an arcana for a set of special moves), perfect matches, critical heart knockouts, and ratings for different characters.

One strange decision is it appears online mode doesn’t have double blind character selection. After player two picks Mei-Fang and her color, player one is still deciding between Akane and Kira.

Maybe now that Arcana Heart 3 is rumoured to be getting localized at least in one region, people that like the series can start paying attention to all the videos Arc System Works put out.

…wow, those animated borders really are something, aren’t they?

    Well looks like a good fighting game with decent single and online modes. Consider me interested :D

    Looks pretty good overall >w> Although it may be a delayed double blind, Senko does it, for the first 5 seconds you can see each other on the character select, then after like 10 seconds it’ll fade out so you can’t see them pick; so if you want the safety of a double blind you just have to wait a few seconds. So it could be something like that >w< Also online cards actually look better then Blazblue:CS's T__T'

      woa i like how the characters appear on the right and left corner of the screen, is this the first time something like this is made in the arcana hearts games? I’ve known those games for a while but never played them

      • Code

        The spacefillers? I guess so, I’ve played fighters that use the sides of the screen for character portraits before, although personally I prefer wide screen when applicable >w<;

      I despised BBCS’s ranked match. Why fix something that’s not broken? BBCT’s ranked lobby was lightyears better than that catastrophe. And yes, the online cards are confusing. What hath you done ArcSys???

      • Code

        God I agree so much, BB:CS literally is like trudging through mud playing online, it takes forever for to find a match most of the time it’s rarely the connection rating you requested either. BB:CT’s online play definitely was a world better, by far, honestly it was one of the biggest let downs for me.

        In BB:CT I practiced mostly online ever since BB:CS I’ve really slowed down on practicing because you just can’t jump from match to match like you could with the old lobby system omo; I’m really hoping aksys is listening for the next BB game T_T’

    please localize this Arc :D
