Crossfire 2 Is Like Space Invaders With Lots Of Colour And Ship Flipping

By Ishaan . January 5, 2011 . 9:28am

Crossfire 2 on Xbox Live Arcade looks like a colourful Space Invaders, except the enemies are in the centre of the screen, and you can flip your ship over to be either in front or behind them. Naturally, your opponents can shoot in all directions so you can’t just flip behind them when things get dicey.

Developed by Radiangames, Crossfire 2 also comes with an upgrade system for your ship. You can add to your speed, firepower, the spread of your bullets and other stats. It also allows for 2-player offline co-op play.

Like some of the other Xbox Live Indie Games we’ve covered this week, Crossfire 2 is for 80 Microsoft points ($1.00).

  • For some reason the games named reminded me of that retro game that was glorious as a kid ( )

Just 1 dollar, guess I will implore my younger bro to buy it on his X360

  • This… I need to get this. It looks like immense fun!

  • In the sea of crap that is the Indie games section of xbox live, Radiangames releases some primo stuff. I absolutely love JoyJoy and the first Crossfire was pretty alright. For a buck, I’ll probably pick this up.

for some reason the interface reminds me of Dues Ex Human Revolution ^^

Me and my friend bored the crap out of everyone else we were hanging out with because we refused to do anything else until we beat it on the hardest mode. It was great.

  • TrevHead

I like, it looks fun to play

  • Really getting sick of these shooters that rip Geometry Wars vibrant neon graphics style, totally lacks personality
