Okamiden Demo Coming To Select U.S. Stores

Capcom are gearing up for their release of Okamiden in March. North America gets the game on March 15th, while Europe will see it on March 18th.

Before that, however, U.S. residents can also try out a DS demo for Okamiden. Capcom reveal that Fry’s, Target, Toys R Us and WalMart stores have a DS download station with the Okamiden demo available.

In Japan, Okamiden saw a downloadable demo via the Everybody’s Nintendo Channel on the Wii, too. Considering Capcom released a similar demo for Ace Attorney Investigations through the Wii in North America, Okamiden might see one down the line as well.

A good store selection. The Fry’s near me is great and is where I get games whenever I don’t get them off Amazon.

Excellent, can’t wait to try them out.

  • Good I guess I will get to try before buying to see how good the game is with the order of the amazing stylus and cleaner. Dude, Im so glad they are packing a game with it, lol.

im really confused with Okamiden, they said in an interview that the game was a spiritual successor to Okami(kinda like Xenogears – Xenosaga) but they said the plot occurs few months after the end of okami? so which is which? it also reminded of another game, Dues Ex Human Revolution was supposed to be a reboot for the franchise yet it takes place years before the 1st one? also the New Tomb Raider, they said it tells her origins at the same time they wanted to reboot the franchise.

i guess this gen is full of Sequels, Spiritual Sequels, Prequels, Reboots, Remakes, Enhanced Ports not that i mind or anything but it’s really confusing.

    • Okamiden is a sequel to Okami, with a lot of sons/daughters of the original characters. :)
