Erect Bridges, Chop Trees And Open Chests With Okamiden’s Celestial Brushes

With Okamiden’s U.S. and European release a month away, Capcom’s promotional efforts for the game are in full swing, including a recent live showing of the game by producer, Motohide Eshiro. America gets the Okamiden on March 15th, and Europe on the 18th.

 

While you wait, here’s a new trailer showing off some of the Celestial Brushes and their effects on the environments in the game. For a better description of how some of the brushes in the game work, you can check out our import playtest.

    winrar, I played my friend’s imported version a while back and it was pretty decent. The puzzles reminded me of the ones in Zelda: Spirit Tracks, controlling the useless little girl and whatnot… I might get it even though the battle system was a bit dull.

    Wow, that looks pretty similar to the original given that this is a DS game. I’m impressed xD
    But graphics don’t make a game. It seems like the gameplay is solid too though. I hope it’s harder than the last…

    I still haven’t played the original Okami though I’ve been meaning to hunt down a copy for a while now. At this rate I’ll probably play the sequel first as I’m trying to get through all the DS games I want to play (both my backlog and ones I’ve yet to get) before the 3DS launches.

      I’m not sure how helpful this is but the original Okami was ported to the Wii and I think it’s really easy to find. I know for a fact that it’s really cheap on like Amazon and eBay at least. :D

        Yeah the Wii version is the one I plan on getting but I’ve just got too much backlog to get through right now ^_^;

    I purposely decided not follow as much information for Okamiden for potiential storyline surprises. But watching this trailer makes me want this game NOW! The only thing I dislike is that Okamiden is coming out in March I have either pre-ordered or have my on.

    T_T Why… And today’s the 15th. Exactly a month away in NA. T_T If only my ps2 controller was working I’ll play Okami….
