Tecmo Koei have another update on their Japanese Dead or Alive: Dimensions website, and this one brings some gameplay footage and a giant gallery of screenshots into the media mix. First up, is a Kasumi vs. Ayane match, embedded above.

Next, you have what looks like a cutscene involving a ninja threesome, with Ryu, Hayate and Ayane. And finally, screenshots of both the in-game fights and stills from various cutscenes:

I can probably never play this game with 3D since 60fps is such a radical difference from 30fps. Especially if I’m going back and forth between the 2

    • Haha, when I had a go on the game, one of the slightly clueless assistants told me, ‘Apparently it’s really good in 2D as well!’, to which I obviously said, ‘Oh, yeah, because then it’s 60fps rather than 30fps, right?’. She just looked really nervous, went, ‘Oh, erm, right’ and ran away. XD

Actually, though, I did try switching between 3D and 2D and I didn’t really think the difference was all that noticeable, myself. Could be just me, I guess.

  • I have never been a 3D fighting fan other than their music. I’m really looking forward to this game, and hopes it make me a fan. If it does well maybe Namco will bring Tekken over!

Tsk tsk Ishaan, baiting me again with things like “Ninja threesome”. I don’t even have to alter it this time… :)

    • With Ayane sandwiched right in the middle, too…

        Oh yea! more like… MANwiched.

Again with the bull shots…..ugh they did the same thing with DOA Paradise on PSP. They show off these super clean heavily anti aliased screens, and pass them off as “actual gameplay”. I have seen enough PSP/3DS games to know these were touched up, as I said before just look at Kid Icarus. Its a shame because the game won’t look half as impressive without it.

    • LOL.

that’s Tecmo for you man…they love their bullshots:)

but seriously man Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 shots were not bull!

well the screens do look awesome and probably one of the most exciting fighting games out there :)
