Square Enix is bundling Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection with a couple of bonus items. North American copies include Final Fantasy IV cards with artwork from Yoshitaka Amano.

A Dissidia 012[duodecim]: Final Fantasy DLC code is in the package too for Cecil’s "Knight of the Twin Moon" costume.

As we mentioned earlier, Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection has three stories – Final Fantasy IV, The After Years, and an all new Interlude episode that takes place in between. The PSP game lets players select either the original music composed by Nobuo Uematsu or rearranged songs. Square Enix also added three language options: Japanese, French, and English.

Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection comes out on April 19 in North America.

Awesome!! So getting this!! Regardless of what people say, Square Enix is being so awesome right now! I love FFIV and Dissidia!! Whooooooooooo!!

  • Zero_Destiny

Oh man those cards >_< They're way better than the silly DLC. I'm so going to put'em right up on my wall next to my Final Fantasy I&II poster. :) That's awesome.

Geez, finally SE US throws us a bone. I thought I was going to have to import the UK version for the bonus items. I take it we aren’t getting the special box packaging like the UK version, but the cards and DLC will do!

I like the costumes … are a image of the FFIV Cecil like it!
Someone knows about the DLC for Squall? The KingdomHearts costume? (for US)

    • Zonic505

So far, no word on Squall’s KH costume.

So, this comes with purchase without having to pre-order?

    • http://www.siliconera.com Spencer

Yes. These items are packaged inside copies of the game for North America.

Very nice. I’m still playing catch-up with a few game releases, so this will make it easier to hold off a bit on picking up this version of FFIV.

  • Zonic505

Think they’ll do the same for The 3rd Birthday and Lightning’s Aya costume?

  • PrinceHeir

will buy this for sure :P

Weird they confirmed this for a game coming out next month while still no news if The 3rd Birthday will come with the DLC code for North America.

    The artwork looks amazing :)

Good news since this comes with the normal purchase.

Thanks for the tip, Mr. Spencer :)

Awesome, Amano is one of my favorite artists and I do enjoy free extras.

INORITE?! But you know, I do wonder from time to time if he takes pills for his condition. He is a workaholic, you know!

  • Kitsune Miku

Any word on the DLC coming to the EU?

I wonder if the DLC costumes come only with the games or will SE sell them on PSN. Can’t say I’m really interested in 3rd Birthday, but I’m interested for Lightning’s Aya costume

A Sqaure-Enix game with language options, too bad they didn’t do that for other games where they talk a lot.
I would actually replay some of their PS2 games if they let your change it to Japanese.

Ah, gotta love these costumes. Brings back memories of the old, blocky cutscenes from the Chronicles version.
