In addition to Amy, Lexis Numerique have another PlayStation Network game in development, titled Red Johnson’s Chronicles. Unlike Amy’s rather violent survival-horror backdrop, Red Johnson’s Chronicles puts you in the shoes of a private investigator in a city whose crime rate is on the rise.

Red Johnson’s Chronicles appears to be a murder mystery wrapped in an adventure game. Lexis Numerique say you’ll have to solve puzzles and question witnesses to crack the case. The game is slated for a spring 2011 release on the PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3.

  • A private eye? Murder? Possible noir atmosphere? I’m on to this faster than a fat man in an all you can eat chinese restaurant.

  • Very interested, but I’m disturbed by how I don’t hear anything about these games from Sony. The developer says “oh yeah it’ll be released around this time” but usually Sony has them post on the official SCEE/SCEA blogs to share the info with consumers.

    I’m probably worrying about nothing.

  • So basically, the story of Professor Layton who’s become more rugged and down on his luck after the disapperance of his apprentice Luke and his shot of redemption?

Cause that’s what I’m totally reading when looking at this game :D
