An Amusing Reward For Registering Your 3DS With Nintendo In Europe

If you’re in Europe and planning to pick up a Nintendo 3DS on launch day, you might want to register your system as soon as you can; Club Nintendo in Europe have a fun prize waiting for the first 3,000 people to do so: a T-shirt.

Hey…where have we seen that logo before? Oh, that’s right. The main 3DS Augmented Reality card. Nintendo say the design “might surprise you in more ways than one.”

NOE also mention that you’ll be able to register both first-party and third-party 3DS games for 250 Stars each, and the 3DS itself for 750 Stars.

Only 3K of an expected release date shipment of 900K units…wow thats going to be mighty in tents competition to landing this coveted shirt. Hopefully people don’t land the system too early from retailers to block the fair in tents campers out of getting to register when they get theres launch night. Good Luck those of you who get it! It looks marvelous.

If you play the AR archery game on it, it will look like the dragon is a chestburster, exploding from your friend’s chest!

I hope Club Nintendo of US does a neat little promo for registering your 3DS early….though I want to wait until the next reward year to register mine since I’m already at Platinum.

GRARGH! I’m friggin’ european and yet DK isn’t viable for Club Nintendo membership. Why haven’t I moved to GB yet?!

So Nintendo really was serious about promoting third party games. I hope you will be able to register third party games here too. I bought a lot (and I mean a lot) of third party games on the DS. I probably could have gotten a platinum membership every year if I could register all the DS games I bought throughout the year.
