Help Choose Mega Man’s Design For Mega Man Legends 3

Following a break after the recent events in Japan, Capcom’s Mega Man Legends 3 developer room is back in full force, now focusing on Mega Man himself.

 

The development team has three Mega Man suit designs, one of which is going to make it into the game. You can help sway the decision by voting for your favourite design at Capcom-Unity. Here’s a look at the three designs:

  • Original Dash 2 is the cutest by far. I want that.

    Seriously tough, I’ll take A (based on Dash 2). It looks clean and simple.

    • Same here, especially when it’s explicitly stated he’s only one known, carrying human genes/DNA, as of Legends 2/Dash 2.

    B or C. C looks more Hi-tech, wouldn’t be reasonable to wear the same thing when in a dangerous business like digging. Its not like Roll didn’t want Megaman to use Tech she made. But they should use all 3, Give Megaman Heavy, Balanced, and Light armors with stat boosts. Or costumes for us to switch.

    • When Mega Man dies from being shot in the crouch because he wasn’t wearing his “diapers”, Everyone will remember the comment you made and how it was you that killed him -_-

      It’s all about B!!! I love that one the most. :D Got that nice old Megaman feel to it but looks newer and more original at the same time. :)

    I prefer B or C, I find the jointing in A’s hips always has weirded me out >w<; C is kind of neat and makes him look more human, which I like; although it's also lacking the mega-codpiece, so I don't know if it's better then B opo;

    • Although this is heavily retconning things, I think C would be the best choice because he looks more human. In the ZX games, Reploids are supposed to be as more realistic as possible than in the X and Z games, and humans have become more cyborg-like. So by the time Trigger is created, the line should be blurred enough where he should look as human-like as possible.

  • I’m not convinced that Trigger is “entirely” a cyborg, so I think A and B makes him look like a child’s toy. xD I’ll vote for C.

    His Hands, his Waist, it shows his human traits
    I mean,how can you be human and wear armor like A and B, unless it was grafted to his skin
    But I can’tshake the thought there will be a critical hit to the nads one day….
